I took a quick look at it, and it seems to be a pretty decent program. Didn't even try the demo. Declined based on cost alone. Can't see how they justify such an increment over their competition - it's font management, not rocket science, for chrissakes. How much is it...I have no idea. :-) Toby Thanks for input.

Maybe the Cube is not selling for some good reasons
Take font management for instance. There is only one font manager (ATM Pro) available for the PC and its not a very good one. Most people use Font Reserve and its not available for the PC. Color calibration and management? Forget it. PCs don't have system-level color management and the color management tools

What I am concerned about is all 500 fonts ending up in the Font Folder located in the System Folder of my Mac. Is there a software program that would allow me to manually load only those fonts associated with a particular program, excluding all other fonts from other programs from loading, when it is launched.

G4/350, OS 8.6: Quark4 and Freehand Do not work. Why?
The first and most appealing feature all along for me to prefer a Mac in prepress over a PC has been Font Management. All the way up to OS9 all you had to do was use suitcase. It just worked without flaw. Fonts were never an issue. They were just a simple part of doing a job until OSX.

But the thing about font management software is the ability to load and unload fonts for different jobs., to make folders which contain fonts for specific jobs and then load them as needed, and so forth, without having to reboot the computer every time so that the OS recognises the fonts.
